That is what this blog is based off.
This guy is a genius.
We, Brock and I, are going to try the ideas cause the are AWESOME!
Starting with the first one beccause it's first....
* Pick a word or phrase at random, let mind play freely around it until a
few ideas have come up, then seize on one and begin to write. Try this with
a non- connotative word, like "so" etc.
I asked my friend Benjamin to give me a word, any word, the first word that popped into his head
His reply, "Pagan."
I should have known.
To me the word pagan no longer means as the dictionary puts it:
–noun
1.
one of a people or community observing a polytheistic religion, as the ancient Romans and Greeks.
2.
a person who is not a Christian, Jew, or Muslim.
3.
an irreligious or hedonistic person.
Because of Ben this word is now an insult. "PAGAN!" is a derogatory name and should be used all the time to describe everything and everyone. If needed you can call something "Paganistic" because it is something that a pagan would have or do. The word Pagan does not make me think of people worshiping sticks and moons, just Benjamin. I always smile, and usually laugh when I call someone a pagan. Ben has moved now and I hadn't talked to him in a while, so I had not used the word pagan in a long time. Afew weeks ago something happened that deserved for the word to be dragged out of the recesses of my mind.
My friend Haaken left his bible at the church and I, being a youth leader, called him and told him that he was a pagan for doing that. Oh yes, it was great to have that word roll off my lips again. Trust me. I will be using this much more often now that I have rememebered it and talked to Benjamin.
PS Ben is awesome...
